The Talkpod N50 Push-to-Talk over Cellular LTE handheld radio is equipped with the open-source Android 9.0 operating system enabling users to stay connected by utilising Push-To-Talk technology. It's a mid-tier PoC rugged portable with optional IP67 splash-proof and dust-proof - perfect for daily use in harsh environments. It is designed to look and feel like a conventional two-way radio as much as possible but runs an Android operating system to support the Rapid™ platform. The N50 has all 3G/4G bands and has been designed specifically for the Australian Market.

AUSTRALIA-WIDE / WORLDWIDE COMMUNICATION WITH NO LIMITATIONS

All Talkpod devices come pre-loaded with the Rapid™ platform application. The Rapid™ platform is Talkpod Australia Verified.  The Talkpod Smart Series also supports other platforms and has been confirmed to have correctly working transmit/receive functionality (at minimum) on the ESChat, Linx, RealPTT, Tassta and Zello platforms. With the readily available and ever-expansive public 3G & 4G networks, the Talkpod Smart Series radios are perfect for users who require rapid, secure, wide-area communication. Coverage is almost limitless bound only by cellular or WiFi network access. The Talkpod Smart Series of radios far exceed the limitations of traditionally 2-Way radio by providing license-free wide-area communication and a level of flexibility until now never before achievable.

Wherever the network is covered, via cellular 3G / 4G or WiFi you can communicate with your team in real-time.

RAPIDPTT Subscription (Optional).

Get the most out of your Talkpod Smart device by Subscribing to the RapidPTT PoC platform by selecting the required subscription period from the above dropdown menu. RapidPTT subscribed devices are active and ready for use upon dispatch. Subscription periods of 2+ months are calculated per calendar month beginning at the start of the following month after purchase, giving the purchaser a free usage period prior to the start of the next cycle (eg Talkpod device purchased with 6month RAPIDPTT in May would be active and ready to use immediately however the 6 month subscription period would begin in June and conclude end November).

All devices supplied with a RAPIDPTT subscription come with a Telstra data-only SIM card. The supplied Telstra SIM should not be used for any other purpose other than for PTToC communication in the intended device. Each SIM has a data limit of 600MB that is pooled with all devices on the same subscription. Typical heavy data use sees around 200MB per device per month making it impossible to go over data limits when used as intended.  Users that remove the SIM from a device or exceed their pooled data allocation will have their subscription cancelled and any amounts in credit will be refunded.
